Is having low confidence can holding you back and preventing you from achieving your goals?
And, more importantly, it can keep us from living in the truth of what God has given to each of us and who He has created us to be. It’s important to feel confident in yourself so you can be the best person you can be! Working intentionally on what is bothering you, keeping you stuck, stopping you from living in our God-given freedom to be who we are, right where we are is a discipline that DOES MATTER. In order to experience change, we must be willing to change and work on the areas in life that may be really influencing our choices, mood, and perspective. Comparison plays a big role in this. Confidence has most everything to do with what we are thinking, and when comparison comes into our mindset, it’s due to us comparing our lives against something else.
Our levels of confidence are a lifelong journey because a variety of seasons and circumstances are ever changing. With that in mind, these tips for how to boost self confidence are practical ways to keep the work of balancing our confidence out.

When we think about the purpose we have to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves, we have a clear directive as to what really matters and what we are doing here. With that purpose in mind, we can rely on God’s word and provisions to confidently live out what He has created us to do. It takes the pressure off to perform in our own right.
We all have unique skills and talents that are helpful in our ability to connect with others…this is where our highest level of confidence comes naturally.
Working and doing in that capacity keeps us grounded and energized to keep showing up! Confident in who we are and what we are here to do. In spite of our circumstances, we can still show up in our lives as who God created us to be. This is a truth that helps me stay confident in my abilities because I know that if I am simply focused on what God has in front of me…I am doing what I was meant to do.
I hope these tips help to boost your self confidence, and give you encouragement to focus on Christ and show up with intention each day you’ve been given!
