I love the subtitle of The Burden to Better, which is “ How a Comparison Free Life Leads to Joy, Peace, and Rest”
Some of the questions Heather and I tackled in this episode:
- What daily tips do you utilize to help buffer the tendency to compare (hello, social media, haha)
- How does comparison que us to the areas we may need to rely on God more?
- In what ways have changing your habit of comparison improved your relationships?
- Talk on how comparison can spiral into real mental and even physical health challenges by igniting for example, obsessive thinking and critiquing ourselves in unhealthy ways which changes how we feel, think, and respond to our circumstances.
This conversation was so insightful and needed in this time. There is true rest found in living comparison-free! Please be sure to checkout Heather on instagram and on her website. Be sure to grab her book too!
