Get Your Bootay in Gear! In this video we are going talk about what we need to do to get motivated.
Sometimes we need to re-calibrate ourselves and what we are doing daily to get unstuck. Breaking habits and identifying what is repetitive in our daily lives will help us pinpoint areas that we should challenge.
Force yourself to say NO
When we are saying yes to one thing, we are saying no to something else, and often we have to recognize that we are saying yes and no to the wrong things when we are “stuck”.
It’s important that we recognize what we are using to keep ourselves from stepping up to the plate when it comes to our goals.
Don’t Consume, Create
We get in the BAD HABIT of consuming waaaay more than we create. Create should be seen loosely. I’m not talking about painting a masterpiece (although that would be awesome!), but more meaning that we must create moments in our day intentionally.
Allow time for imagination play with your kids, strumming your guitar, journaling your thoughts, or whatever it is that makes you use your mind in a creative way.
When we make room for creativity, we are present in our surroundings and have the capacity to enjoy our lives in the present time we have.
WRITE IT OUT
When we take a moment to write out our thoughts, we can see what is stopping us. Often, we are thinking things that are not the truth, and are really just stemming from past experiences and feelings.
If we can get to the root of our feelings, we can change the way we think about our circumstances.
