Perfect Gift Guide for Millennial Wives and/or Moms
If you’re looking for great gift ideas for the millennial wife or mother, this gift guide is perfect! Many women are balancing careers, homemaking, marriage, motherhood, and chasing their dreams. This list focuses on helping meet the needs of these women and giving them a chance to enjoy something just for them!
For the Reader
Restless, by Jennie Allen is an awesome book for reflection, encouragement, and direction to discovering what makes you tick, the passions you have, why you should harness them, and the importance to not push them away…all from a Biblical viewpoint. I finished this book in just three days. It’s a great read and gives amazing perspective in the midst of the chaos that can be life! For the reader and passionate woman, this is a great match!
For the Busy Lady
Every woman loves to be pampered. You could get a gift certificate to her favorite place, or give her the gift of being able to treat herself on the regular. This foot-spa is the ticket! I gave one to my mother last year and she loves being able to take time and relax with this at home, it’s become part of her regular self-care routine. We all need to take a minute to give ourselves a break and settle down even for a short while. Give her the gift of mindless enjoyment!
For the Creative (or need to relax) Gal
If you weren’t aware, adult coloring books are all the rage. Similar to the gift above, coloring gives us a chance to slow down, pause, and simply let go of the everyday stresses. The key to making the pictures look awesome are the tools you use to color with. These pencils aren’t very expensive, but are good quality and easy to store! Coloring books come in all variations, some of my favorite are the devotional kind because it gives you a chance to study the word and take the time to reflect while you color. Plus, they make great prints to frame and hang (if you can stay in the lines!).
For the Mom
I am NOT a scrap-booker. I aspire to be one and envy the ladies who can creatively do it and keep up with it all! However, I’ve come to terms, I just won’t ever be the traditional kind of memory keeper. HOWEVER, I do have any awesome hack for this! Above is the VERY customizable Happy Planner. This planner offers tons of space for journaling, keeping track of the all things that life involves, and room to insert pictures. If you get this awesome camera, it will make pictures the perfect size and into STICKERS (non scrap-bookers dream!).
For the Tech Savvy
If you’re looking for a “high end” gift, than you can’t go wrong with the iWatch or the Samsung equivalent, if she is an Android user. This watch is AMAZING. For the women on the go, the phone/message capability is built in so she can be driving, shopping, at work, walking, changing a diaper…you get the picture and not miss a call or text. It keeps her easily connected without the hassle of headphones or holding onto a phone. PLUS, it does ALL the tracking that could be needed (sleep, exercise, heart rate, and steps). There are tons of ways to customize the look with changing faces and endless options for straps. She will love it!
For the Art Lover
Checkout getting tickets to any plays coming close to you or art exhibits that may coming near. Taking the time to purchase the tickets and making an event out of it can be the best surprise. Plus, it’s a gift that keeps giving. The initial excitement and joy that something was bought and planned (the thought that went into it), and then the actual day that it comes. I know, as a wife and mother, anytime my husband plans something for us without my involvement it makes me so HAPPY! It shows that he wants to spend time with just me, and that he knows me well enough to know the joy I would get out of seeing and going to do something like that.
For the Adventure Seeker
Similar to above, consider an experience gift. This could be an indoor rock climbing adventure, a zip-lining course, a cooking class, or even an overnight camping excursion. There are plenty of Groupons that will offer great ideas and deals on these types of gifts, check there first! One year for my birthday, my husband took me to an indoor rock climbing place and it was one I have always remembered. I had never done that before so trying something new with his help was a really great memorable experience.
I hope these ideas have provided gifts, ideas, and/or inspiration for great gifts! Please leave comments if you’ve enjoyed any of these gifts or have any more ideas.
