Have you heard the phrase “two ships passing in the night”? It’s usually used to describe a marriage. A marriage that is fraught with the grind of daily living. Wake up, rush, work all day, rush home, dinner, chores, sleep, and repeat day after day until Saturday. And then Saturday is spent running around to fit in “life”, which for some may be ball games, birthday parties, family lunches/dinners, some possible friend time, shopping, recitals, and maintenance of all things home. It’s crazy. Sunday comes and most of us are pulling ourselves to church (usually the late service), half the day is gone when Church lets out and for us, we just come home and pass out, only to wake up and frantically piece together dinner…we hit the hay and then repeat it ALL OVER AGAIN.
Week after week…and that becomes life.
