Don’t let negative people affect you, and your life. We all have people in our lives that put a damper on things to put it lightly or do more. It’s easy to allow negative people to truly change how you feel about yourself, your circumstances, and how you think about things. DON’T LET THEM DO THAT!

In this video, I talk about how to STOP letting negative people affect you.

It can be easy to get caught in a relationship that truly hurts you and there are times that you can’t “make it stop” like with family members that will always be there. Think about that mean aunt or uncle who is overly critical, or a sibling that takes every chance to put you down, or maybe it’s a friend that has been in your life forever that has become a sore spot in your life. It could even be a new friend or acquaintance that you begin to realize is “not your people”. Whatever the case, we all encounter people in our lives that are not healthy, helpful, encouraging, or pleasant to be around.

Let’s dive in to HOW we can change the way we feel about them, and healthy ways to manage our interactions with them.

I hope this was helpful in giving you actionable ways to get your mindset in a healthy space to work through the challenge of negative people in your life.

We can’t hedge ourselves to the point of never having negative experiences with other people, BUT we can learn how to deal with negative people.

When we learn these skills we are helping ourselves manage our mindsets, learn how to protect our own values and beliefs, and remain unchanged by the pervasive nature negativity can have on us if we are not careful.
