Feeling stuck and complacent are feelings that are self-sabotaging, and mainly stem from our mindset. Why you may be stuck and complacent is the topic we tackle in this episode of The Thought Vault Podcast.
Living in a state of feeling stuck and complacent does not serve our lives well. We end up setting the same goals time after time, never making much progress on them. OR, we never start because we can’t break the habits of our lives we’ve created.
We have to learn how to know when we are living stuck and complacent, and what to do when we are. We also discuss the way to prevent our hearts from being overwhelmed with the lies that being stuck and complacent can entangle us in.
TUNE IN TO THIS EPISODE
Learning what our TRUE PURPOSE really is, motivates us to live each day with an energy that we don’t bare the weight of what is to come. We simply live in faith, and rest in the peace that God is working all things together. And when that doesn’t bring contentment or we can’t wrap our mind around that, we pray and read scripture to learn the truth of what God says about every relationship and circumstance.
We dove in to two scriptures that give us clarity, one being Mark 12
28 And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” 29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:28–31
